LODGE TOUR: The Restigouche Lodge features accommodations for up to 10 anglers, as well as a comfortable lounge and superior cuisine. In the past, the Lodge operated as a private retreat – it was a well-kept secret. Under new ownership, the Lodge is open to the public.
Despite its rural setting, the Restigouche River Lodge is easily accessible by car, airline and private or chartered aircraft. It is located approximately 750 miles from New York City, 550 miles from Boston, 450 miles from Montreal, and 800 miles from Toronto. International visitors can fly into the major airports serving these cities and connections are available to airports near the Restigouche River area.
Once you have arrived at the Restigouche River Lodge, you can fish the Restigouche’s lower holding pools from the bank, wading, or from a large, powered canoe that carries two anglers.
The Lodge offers highly qualified local guides, as well as the services of the internationally respected instructor, Jonathan Huff, who is sponsored by Thomas & Thomas Fly Rod Co., Hobie Glasses, and Gatti Fly Rods.
The Restigouche River Lodge is owned and operated by fishermen for fishermen and the owners have instituted a comprehensive “no kill” policy.
